Requirements:

• Valid and active RDA License issued by the Dental Board of California
• At least 16 continuous months of performing similar services within the last 2 years
• Internship does not count towards the required experience
• Current and valid California Dental Radiation Safety Certificate
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (with AED)
• Must be proficient in the English Language (Speaking/Writing)

Responsibilities:
The Registered Dental Assistant will work under the guidance of the Supervising Dentist, Supervising Dental Assistant, Dental Health Program Manager III, or their designee. The Supervising Dentist or designee will provide professional oversight, while the Supervising Dental Assistant will have administrative responsibility for the services rendered. Minimum requirements and services to be provided by the RDA are those defined defined by Section 1740-1777 of the
California Dental Practice Act.
