Dental Assistant

We’re hiring a personable Dental Assistant to provide extraordinary customer service to our patients. Responsibilities include assisting our dental staff with examinations and procedures, obtaining dental records, charting, and ensuring our patients leave our practice with a smile. $17 - $25 hourly

• Work with dentists and dental hygienists during examinations and procedures by assisting with dental instruments and assure the patients’ mouths are comfortable, dry, and accessible to the dentist
• Write down treatment information after every visit and ensure patient records include current dental histories
• Get the patient area ready for any examinations or procedures by preparing equipment like x-ray machines, anesthetics, and impression materials and sanitizing and laying out dental instruments
• Walk patients through a good oral health care regime so they can maintain a healthy smile
• Inform patients about proper oral health care to prevent infections after dental procedures

• Have the ability to give patients exceptional care and service
• Able to perform basic computer and data entry tasks
• Superb multitasking, interpersonal, and communication skills
