Dental Assistant

A Dental Assistant is the right (and sometimes left) hand of the Dentist, an office cannot run smoothly without one! That is why we are looking to add a friendly and professional Dental Assistant to our team.

Hours:

M,T: 9am-7pm

W: 9am-4pm

Th: 9am-5pm

F: 9am-1pm

Rotating Sat: 8am-1pm

WHAT IT TAKES:

Education/Experience/Certifications:

• High school diploma
• Dental Assisting education
• Current RHS certification

Requirements & Contributions to the team:

• Prepare patients, sterilize or disinfect instruments, set up instrument trays, prepare materials, or assist the dentist during dental procedures.
• Dental diagnostic x-rays.
• Record treatment information in patient records.
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist.
• Assist dentists in management of medical or dental emergencies.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Make preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts.
• Clean and polish removable appliances.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments.
• Apply protective coating of fluoride to teeth.
• Fabricate temporary restorations or custom impressions from preliminary impressions
• Other duties related to the Dental Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
