Orthodontic Assistant

Duties:

- Assist orthodontists with patient care and treatment procedures/ treatment coordination
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments
- Take digital dental x-rays
- Assist with dental Digital impressions - ITERO.
- Provide chairside assistance during orthodontic procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and orthodontic care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Perform documentation using Dentrix software
- Assist with patient assessment and treatment planning
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software for orthodontic appliances

Experience:

- Previous experience as an Orthodontic Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of dental records management and coding
- Familiarity with Dentrix software for dental documentation
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Orthodontic Assistant to join our team. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting orthodontists during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, taking x-rays, and maintaining accurate patient records. Experience with dental coding, Dentrix software, ITERO scanning and working with pediatric patients is highly desirable. Pay: $23.00 - $29.00 per hour
