Job description

We are seeking a Demand Planner/Scheduler to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business as a hybrid position, with an expected 2-3 days per week on-site in Marietta, GA.

As a Demand Planner/Scheduler, you will analyze demand data, schedule deliveries for global company sites, and collaborate with key supply partners.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop replenishment order recommendations based on historical usage, forecasts, vendor lead times and safety stock settings. Schedules blanket and standing orders with vendors.
  • Increase inventory turn rates annually while achieving greater than 95% product availability.
  • Create schedules for supplier deliveries, intercompany shipments, and replenishment of third-party manufacturing partners.
  • Monitor and refine min/max values by item in PeopleSoft based on factors such as risk, variability, lead time, and cost.
  • Produce monthly metric reports to track supply availability, inventory holding value, inventory turns, and scrap cost.
  • Meet periodically with key supply partners to collaborate on demand planning, process improvement, and issue escalation.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and best practice process documentation. Assist in authoring new process maps and flows, and documenting process procedures with guidance from leadership.
  • Work cross functionally with production, project management, lab and logistics to ensure continuity of supply for customers.

What We Are Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field paired with minimum 3-5 years relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
  • Prior experience in demand planning, scheduling, inventory management, or production/manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working in an ERP system such as PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, etc.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $72,800.00 - $109,400.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
