Hallmark Receiving is the areas largest furniture and home accessory receiver, exclusively serving the interior design community.
We have an immediate opening for Furniture Delivery/Warehouse Associates in our busy Henrico County facility.
Responsibilities and Duties - Warehouse
- Unloading, opening, and inspecting items as they arrive.
- Handling furniture safely and organizing incoming and outgoing freight.
- Maintaining a clean, organized work environment. Sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces used daily.
Responsibilities and Duties - Delivery
- Loading truck with items required for installs properly.
- Assisting Delivery Team Lead as a partner and/or team to ensure items are handled unpacked with care.
- Driving a 17ft box truck in neighborhoods, on highways, and on backroads when necessary.
- Having a working knowledge of tools and how to properly use them in the assembly of furniture.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License (required)
- 1+ year's experience in furniture handling (required)
- Strong and effective verbal and written communicator
- Must be able to lift upwards of 75lbs and team lift
- Must be able to stand on their feet for the majority of the day
Hours
Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 4:30pm/ 40 hours per week
