GPRS Job Title: Delivery/Equipment Technician
Type and Status: Regular, Full Time, Non-exempt, On-site
Hours of Work: Weekdays 8am to 5pm, 40 hours per week
Department/Location: GPRS, Bismarck
Reports to: Delivery /Equipment Supervisor

Statement of Purpose:
The customer service representative is responsible for: patient demographic and insurance information intake, pulling items from stock to fill
orders, assisting customers with loading large orders, answering the phone, and maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor when
dealing with customers.

Essential Home Medical Equipment (HME) Responsibilities
● Supply responsibilities include purchasing, shipping and receiving, stocking, returning, exchanging products and keeping stock areas tidy and organized. Track backorder ETAs and maintain special order turnaround time by assuring all orders are filled as soon as freight is delivered. Returns are sent back to vendors within one week of being placed on the designated Purchase Order. Receive all home medical equipment supplies and processes within two days of shipment arriving at GPRS. Processing all outgoing shipments within specified time and to correct addresses as noted on sales order.
● Managing new item purchases, keeping track of the 3 month special orders, then adding new items to the BT, count sheet and location on the sales floor. Counting inventory and performing the rotation of stock to avoid out dates on the shelves.
● Communicating all changes to Supervisors on a weekly basis regarding changes to inventory bin locations, adjustments to inventory par levels, and item number changes. Making labels for the items that don't use the product item number.
● Delivering and picking up dry cleaning and equipment to hospitals and patient homes.
● Assisting customers with education, credits and returns and instructing the billers appropriately.
● Assembling walkers, hospital beds, and other products that are displayed on the sales floor.
● Keeping the PARs on ostomy and urology current.

Essential Respiratory Care (RC) Responsibilities
● Home deliveries and visits (conducts all in-home non-clinical home visits) to include checking scripts and equipment hours.
● Take call after hours and weekends for patient question and equipment issues.
● Asset, log, trade and pick-up equipment. Replacing oxygen equipment that isn't working.
● Doing the equipment checks, maintenance, sending in the equipment for repairs, and logging these activities in Brightree.
● Performing and documenting cleaning and maintenance of all GPRS owned equipment per manufacturer guidelines by assisting in Soiled Room for no less than two hours per week.
● Supply responsibilities include purchasing, shipping and receiving, stocking, returning, exchanging products and keeping stock areas tidy and organized.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma preferred, not required. Valid driver's license required.
Experience: Previous customer service experience preferred, not required.

Computer aptitude, ability to multitask, detail oriented, well developed written and oral communication skills. Must demonstrate initiative
and good judgment. Works in harmony and with a spirit of cooperation with the general public as well as staff. Disciplined to actively listen to
customer and staff needs and takes responsibility to address those needs. Thrives in a fast paced work environment.
