We are looking for a motivated and experienced delivery driver that can safely & comfortably drive a 16ft and 26ft truck anywhere. We deliver our products to residential areas with rough, rural terrain to the tight and crowded streets of the 5 boroughs. Experience in these areas and operation of these trucks, is crucial to the safety of yourself and your community.

You must be physically capable of unloading the equipment and moving it on various types of residential driveways. You will also be doing local deliveries as needed, 2 man deliveries as needed and picking up warehouse stock and equipment, as needed.

You will be working in the warehouse when needed, as you won't be out on route all day, everyday. You will be pulling orders and loading trucks for next day deliveries, receiving and putting product away, shipping products, maintaining a clean work space and learning all other aspects of day to day operations.

Our new team member will need to be reliable, driven, hard working and self sufficient when needed. Focus, attention to detail and the ability to manage your time effectively, is a must.

Delivery Driver/Warehouse Qualifications and Skills:

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Must have stable transportation to and from the office.
• Must have 1 year experience driving 26ft box truck
• Must be comfortable driving in the 5 boroughs of NYC

Delivery Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver equipment to customers or pick up equipment from customers and suppliers in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.
• The driver is responsible for overall safety of the vehicle he/she is driving.
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle, and have a driving record that meets the company standards.
• Ability to work entire shift in inclement weather if we are open for business.
• Ability to manually lift (minimum of 50 lbs.) Physically able to reach, lift overhead, Push and pull heavy pallets (Maximum of 2000 lbs.) with supplied pallet jacks.
• Ability to load and unload trucks from ground level or platform
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) and wire measuring equipment.
• Ability to use a GPS and adhere to delivery procedures.
• Ability to count bundles, boxes, reels, coils, and pallets

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
