Delivery Driver/Warehouse Associate

Look for a hardworking delivery driver willing to provide great customer service to our growing portfolio of customers. The driver will be responsible for deliveries around Chicagoland originating from our warehouse in Elk Grove Village, IL. In addition to delivery services we also need our drivers to collect containers with packed lighting, electrical and battery recycling and return them to our Elk Grove Village location for sorting and recycling.

The warehouse associate needs to be comfortable with sorting recycling materials, picking, packing, forklift operation and strong sense of working independently or in a team setting.

Shift:

The driver shift is 6am-2:30pm; Monday – Friday; Will have opportunities for overtime on occasion.

The warehouse shift is 8am-5pm; Monday-Friday; Will have opportunities for overtime on occassion.

Job Description:

• Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids and report any issues
• Make deliveries in a timely and safe manner, following the MOD routing
• Collect lighting, electrical and battery recycling materials from customers
• Unload the truck using Pallet Jack and Two-Wheeler
• Maintain communication with Warehouse Manager during deliveries, communicate any issues/delays
• Bring back to the warehouse signed invoices/manifests
• Help unload and clean truck at the end of the shift
• Sort and pack recycled material
• Fill orders
• Maintain clean working spaces

Job Requirements:

• Must have or be willing to obtain a class C License
• Must pass the DOT Physical Test
• Minimum 1-year driving experience
• Able to read a map/GPS and get to the accounts in a timely manner
• Lift/carry/pull/push product up to 60 lbs

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
