SKLJ, Inc. is a FedEx Ground Contractor that provides pick-up and delivery services. SKLJ, Inc. dispatches out of the DuPont terminal, and we serve the Olympia and Lacey area. We are hiring motivated Delivery Drivers with exceptional customer service skills to join our team.
Qualifications
- Be at least 21 years old
- Have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record
- Be able to pass a drug test (including marijuana) upon hiring and random drug tests during employment
- Pass a DOT Physical
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs. and up to 150 lbs. with a hand truck – This includes up steep driveways, stairs, etc.
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Must have good organizational skills
- Must have good time management skills
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to work in all types of weather
- Must be able to work weekends
Daily Duties:
- Deliver and pick up packages to businesses and residences in a safe and timely manner.
- Routes may vary in number, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 140 stops a day.
- Follow route and delivery times to meet daily expected deliveries and pick ups from businesses and residential customers.
- Perform daily inspection of the vehicle, including fluid levels.
- Able to pass random drug screening during employment and maintain DOT card
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Provide excellent customer service
