The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering medications to patients in a timely manner while securing patient privacy and ensuring product quality is maintained. This position is a safety sensitive position.
Qualifications:
- Good organizational skills and an orientation to detail is required
- Clean driving record and valid Driver's License
- Great customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Delivers medications and medical equipment as needed to patients
- Maintains a mileage record. Completes all paperwork/filing requirements accurately at the end of each work shift
- Maintains an accurate record of payments received and follow company guidelines regarding charge accounts and check payments
- Keeps all patient information confidential. Follows instructions precisely related to patient privacy rules
- Requests valid identification and obtain proper signatures from patients during drop off
- Completes delivery assignments within the shift time assigned, while complying with all traffic regulations
- Presents a pleasant and respectful demeanor to all clients at all times
- Works with team members as needed in special circumstances; be flexible as needed
- Monitors vehicle maintenance and advise supervisor when repairs/maintenance is required; take vehicles to be serviced as assigned
- Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed
Physical Demands:
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk and hear
- The employee is required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds
