Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. McDonald Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for a Delivery Driver Non-CDL/Warehouse Employee at their Aberdeen, SD location.
Join our team at McDonald Supply as a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Teammate. We are seeking an outgoing and customer-focused individual who prioritizes safety. You will represent our Profit Center professionally, delivering merchandise, handling materials, and building relationships with customers. Warehouse duties and assisting with inside sales are also part of the role. Basic computer skills and a willingness to help with various tasks are desired.
Responsibilities:

• Safely drive company trucks to deliver merchandise to various locations
• Load trucks with merchandise and secure the load properly
• Understand shipping documents and directions for each delivery
• Unload merchandise at designated locations and obtain signatures
• Practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment
• Build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers
• Perform all job functions in accordance with safety standards
• Receive vendor shipments and verify materials received
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments
• Operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely
• Investigate and resolve customer problems and address pricing deductions
• Support counter sales, outside sales, and other Profit Center activities
• Learn and operate applicable software systems for order processing

Qualifications:

• High school degree or equivalent
• 1+ years of warehouse and delivery experience
• Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment
• Knowledge and practice of safety precautions in a warehouse environment
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to maintain positive relationships with team members, vendors, and customers
• Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word) preferred
• Experience using inventory management systems (Eclipse) preferred
• Willingness to assist with various tasks as required
