Delivery Driver - Fedex Alternative Vehicle Program (Avp)

Bayston Logistics, Inc is seeking reliable and determined Delivery Drivers! We are a company that contracts with FedEx Ground to provide outstanding delivery service to the Punta Gorda, FL area. This position is for an AVP Delivery Driver which requires you to deliver out of your own personal vehicle. The packages will be smaller than a 24x24x24” box and no more than 40 pounds in weight. SUV’s, vans and larger cars are ideal but any approved vehicle will work that is a 2013 or newer. This position offers a fair amount of schedule flexibility.

Starting at $1.50 per stop

2nd Terminal Location: 1880 Ortiz Ave Fort Myers, FL 33905

No CDL required!!!

Schedules Available: 2 to 6 day work week

Typical work hours: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM

Delivery Driver Job Information:

• We operate 7 days per week.
• This is a physical job and requires that the Delivery Driver gets in and out of your personal vehicle.

Requirements of Delivery Driver: All applicants MUST meet ALL of the following criteria (NO EXCEPTIONS)..

• Must be willing to have a background check
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Your personal vehicle must meet all state and local requirements meaning valid registration and insurance
• Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.
• Have a dependable work vehicle that is less than 10 years old.
• The ability to locate suburban addresses using GPS and/or maps is a must and a good general knowledge of our service area which includes Punta Gorda and the metro Fort Myers area.

Responsibilities of Delivery Driver:

• Arrive at the FedEx terminal to load packages into your personal vehicle for deliveries
• Loading and Unloading packages from your vehicle
• Delivering packages to the destination using a GPS system
• Scanning and Logging Packages with company provider equipment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 50 per week
