Our business is multi-faceted, and you may deliver anything from food and beverages to linen and/or do restaurant and bar deliveries of janitorial supplies.

A Driver is responsible for counting items and delivering them to our customers, verifying delivery, and may perhaps be asked to pick up items that vary.

Position Summary: We are looking for a Driver to pick up and deliver various goods to a variety of customers in a comfortable, safe, and timely manner. Outside of completing daily routes (that may change), Driver responsibilities include arranging regular cleaning and maintenance services for the vehicle, planning each route based on road and traffic conditions, and may include managing payments.

Ultimately, you will help us increase customer satisfaction, ensuring our clients are happy with their delivery and service.

To be considered for this role, you should have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with no traffic violations. Note that you don’t need to have a car; we provide drivers with our vehicles; however, you do need to have a reliable mode of transport for arriving and departing work daily.

• Map out driving routes ahead of time to determine the most expedient trip
• Deliver goods to customers in excellent condition with accurate counts
• Collect payments and issue receipts
• Listen to traffic and weather reports to stay up-to-date on road conditions
• Adjust the route to avoid heavy traffic or road constructions as needed
• Ensure the truck(s) are clean and comfortable for all riders
• Schedule regular car service appointments and report any issues

Job Requirements: The job requirements for a Driver are straightforward. The essential requirements are that you must be authorized to work in the U.S., be 18 years of age, and have a valid driver’s license with proven experience as a driver. You must also pass a background check.

• A valid driver’s license
• A clean driving record and experience as a driver, preferably in a commercial setting
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
• Minimum visual acuity of 20/50 (or corrected to 20/50)
• Familiarity with GPS devices
• Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
• Ability to lift heavy packages and luggage
• Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
• A polite and professional disposition
• Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g., at rush hour)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle.

Additionally, you must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and be comfortable pushing a cart with heavy items.

Finally, you should also have excellent interpersonal skills, as you will need to interact with different teams occasionally, including the employees of our customers or vendors. You should be friendly, professional, and willing to answer our customers' questions.

• Attention to detail: Drivers must have strong attention to detail to ensure that orders are accurate and meet the customers’ specifications.
• Time management skills: Drivers must manage their time effectively and prioritize tasks to complete orders efficiently.
• Organizational skills: Drivers must be organized and able to keep track of multiple orders and numerous items.
• Problem-solving skills: Drivers must be able to troubleshoot and solve problems that may arise during their daily operations.
• Physical stamina: Drivers may be required to lift and move heavy items and may be on their feet for extended periods.

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

• Walking/standing on concrete up
• Sitting in a truck for extended periods, staying safe on the road
• Frequently turning, standing, reaching, stooping, and/or bending
• Frequently lifting/carrying objects more than 60 lbs.

Work Environment:

• Equipment in motion (forklifts, electric pallet jacks, scooters)
• Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.
• May be required to work in other departments as needed.
