Delivery Driver

We have a job opening at B&E Delivery and are looking for good people to add to our team!
The job will be with B&E Delivery and not a direct hire at FedEx. We are an independent contractor who works with FedEx and handles package delivery. The main terminal is located in Gaylord, MI. Positions looking to be filled will be delivery in Northern Michigan. Knowledge of these areas is recommended but not required.
Training will be provided!!

The requirements are as follows:
-Candidates must have at least 1 year of driving experience in the last 3 years in a vehicle similar to size of the vehicles we use. Experience in a 12 foot box truck or larger and Cargo Vans will qualify. If you do not have required driving experience we can train you to drive our vehicles that are under 10,000 GVW.
-Must be 21 years of age or older.
-Candidates must have a good driving record and be safety conscious.
-Must be able to pass a physical and pre-employment drug test. Random tests are also given during the course of employment.
-This is a physical job and candidates must be able to lift and move packages up to 150 pounds. This weight is very rare (most of our packages range from 1 to 20 pounds).
-Must be able to work to work at least every other weekend. The schedule will be based on your experience and training. The average day is 8 to 9 hours but you may often work 12 hours especially during peak season. (Winter) This is a full time job opportunity!!
-Must have a minimum of a chauffeurs license in order to qualify. A chauffeurs license can be obtained at the Secretary of State for a very low cost.
-Will need a DOT card to work but can obtain after we set up a interview!
