Fedex Ground Delivery Driver

DO NOT APPLY If you do not have package Delivery Driver experience (Amazon, FedEx, UPS). Candidates should be able to commute to Livonia reliably with their own vehicle. Communications are made through phones and scanners. Round-the-year work.

Misra and Ray Logistics Inc. is a fully overlapped Independent Service Provider for FedEx Ground based out of the Livonia terminal. We do Home, Ground, and Smart Post delivery and pickup of packages within Garden City (48135) and Westland (48185). We are accepting applications for full-time drivers.

This is a physical, fast-paced, outdoor position that involves continual lifting, lowering, and carrying packages that typically weigh up to 150 lbs (hand cart provided). Drivers must also have a Chauffeurs License and at least one year of commercial driving experience. You must have excellent time management skills. We will pay $100/day while we train you on the route. We provide you with a uniform and 22ft step vans with FedEx Logo. Every new driver must pass the online certification course prior to joining which requires a road test at the end. If you have the GroundCloud certification already passed, please provide that to us.

Any eligible candidate MUST have all of the following qualifications:

- Minimum of 1 year behind the wheel driving experience from a previous employer within the past 3 years which can be verbally verified [example Uber, Food Delivery, Appliance Delivery, Furniture Delivery, Construction Material delivery, Moving Company delivery etc].

- Must be able to drive a 22ft Step Van [We will Road Test you at our cost]

- Ability to pass a DOT physical per state requirements

- Able to deliver up to 150lbs +- packages [hand cart provided]

- Be able to arrive at the terminal no later than 8:15 am!

- Must be 21 years of age or older

- Must be authorized to work in the US

- Must have extremely clean driving record / criminal background history ( No Felony/ DUI’s )

- Able to pass a drug screen at entry and a random drug test anytime

- Highly Motivated Team Player with a very customer service oriented personality with safe driving skills.

- Must provide Bank Information after joining for Direct Deposit every Friday

- Must pass certification course prior to joining
