Job description

Express Furniture Rental is looking for someone to join our team in Portland, OR. Are you a driver with box truck and warehouse experience? Are you the kind of person who prefers to work out in the field rather than inside the same building all day? We provide training on a variety of skills in a safety-first environment. Includes the opportunity for overtime above your scheduled 40 hours per week!

Responsibilities

*Drive 26' box trucks

*Deliver, setup, and pickup furniture

*Provide customers with friendly and professional service upon delivery

*Pull and stage product for loading

*Load truck and check product against manifest

*Inspect truck to ensure safety

*Warehouse work as needed

Qualifications

*Prefer at least 2 years in related service industry or delivery experience

*Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds

*Must be at least 23 years of age, have a valid driver license and a clean motor vehicle record.

*Must have reliable transportation

*Ability to speak, read and write English

*Ability to pass a driving test and pre-employment drug screen

*Ability to work overtime when needed

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
