Fuel Delivery Driver

A successful candidate must meet the minimum requirements of:

• CDL Class A
• Hazmat Endorsement
• Tanker Endorsement
• TWIC Card
• Must be willing to work swing shift and weekends as needed

Successful candidates will follow procedures and instructions to ensure loading, transportation, and delivery of fuel products are done safely and accurately. As a company driver you will regularly perform work assigned to you with verbal and written instructions which you must perform in an unsupervised environment.

A successful candidate will have basic customer service skills, as performing deliveries regularly requires checking in with site supervisors for site-specific fueling instructions. You are a key point of contact for customers and represent our organization both on the road in the truck, and in the field during loading and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Wear and maintain Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) meeting company and site safety standards.
• Arrive consistently and on-time for scheduled shifts.

• Adhere to all terminal loading procedures and requirements to maintain access to secure sites.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections of truck and equipment.
• Perform on-going truck and equipment inspections throughout the work day.
• Submit detailed maintenance requests as required for safe operation of equipment.
• Load tanks on fuel truck using various methods including belly valve, straight pipe, and tank-to-tank transfer.
• Confirm dispatched instructions match paperwork and tanks at facilities.
• Maintain paperwork tracking fuel inventory levels.
• Identify and deploy the required adapters to connect Fuel Delivery systems to customer tanks, ensuring the safe delivery of fuel, capture of vapors, and flow of displaced air.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $32.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
