Defense Analyst

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic Defense Analyst to join our team supporting key national security priorities. In this impactful role, you will leverage your expertise in foreign affairs, geopolitics, weapons technologies, and defense/military operations to provide analytic assessments and decision advantage.

Responsibilities:

   1.Research, analyze, and forecast regional military capabilities and strategies, geopolitical events, weapons technologies, and other defense-related issues

   2. Prepare comprehensive written  assessments and briefing materials

    3.Inform leadership decision making by identifying risks, opportunities, and recommended courses of action

    4.Proactively identify and fill knowledge gaps regarding adversarial militaries and asymmetric threats

   5. Develop and continually expand a professional network across militaries, governments, think tanks, and industry.

Requirements:

   1. 5+ years of military/defense experience

   2.Demonstrated regional expertise - Asia-Pacific experience strongly preferred

   3.Superior critical thinking, research, writing, and verbal communications abilities

   4.High attention to detail and ability to master complex, technical subject areas

   5. Self-driven and able to work collaboratively in high-performing team environment
