Form of workJB has a new opportunity in our Credit and Collections Area. This position requires strong attention to detail and an analytical eye when reviewing customer submitted deductions. This is a Monday - Friday position with some work from home opportunity after training.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Customer Billbacks:
· Monitor and track deductions by contacting brokers, customers, or using customer portals to access deduction documentation. Conducts research to validate deductions, obtain approvals as necessary.
· Archives backup documentation in document management software.
· Perform offsetting adjustments per internal process to ensure customer account balances are properly stated.
· Maintain strong cross functional communication with internal and external contacts to resolve deductions, which includes responding timely and utilizing both written and verbal methods.
· Maintains outstanding unresolved deductions current with no outstanding unresolved deductions over 180 days old.
· Must be able to present backup and answer questions on collected deduction data to Managers, internal staff, and Customers.
Collections: Responsible for collections of assigned customer accounts to reduce the risk of credit exposure.
Training and Documentation: Responsible for training new hires and providing ongoing cross training and support as the need arises. Assists with creating process documentation and manuals. Makes recommendations for improving processing functions.
Backup: Provides back up duties in the absence of the Cash Application Specialist or Shared Services Support Administrator.
Other duties as assigned: Performs special projects or assignments as directed by the Assistant Credit Manager and Director of Credit.
