General Responsibilities Summary
Up to 30 hrs/wk to include weekend & holidays
The incumbent of this position operates the AIMM museum and store and provides tours and information to guests regarding the USS Razorback and USS Hoga by performing the following duties.
Essential Functions
Serves as Receptionist: Answers phones; responds to emails; operates cash register; schedules events; copies and scans as needed; coordinates guided tours; tracks attendance; balances register.
Provides Tours: Tracks tour attendance numbers; interprets history of the submarine; ensures safety of guests; answers questions; operates dog tag machine.
Janitorial Duties: Cleans bathrooms; vacuums; mops; cleans doors/windows/glass cases; takes out trash; dusts.
Assists with Special Events: Moves tables and chairs; operates sound equipment; sets up visual aids; moves exhibit cases; assists with catering set-up.
Store Stock and Appearance: Folds shirts; stock store from inventory; prices items; replenishes inventory; organizes merchandise.
Assists with Facility Maintenance: Repair bumpers; moves docks; moves wood; makes minor repairs using hand and power tools.
