Description:
Ascend Staffing is now hiring immediately for a Deburr Tech (Welder Helper) in Cedar Park, TX. This role will support the weld department with smoothing edges and sides of manufactured parts either manually or with a machine.

Welder Helper Tasks & Duties (What You'll Do)
Reviews work order and prints in preparation to finish metal pieces
Use of various tools including sanders and grinders
Grind and deburr finished welds and rough surfaces after machining
Inspect finished parts to proper specifications
Move heavy pipe or sheet metal panels around the warehouse as needed
Welder Helper Shift Info
Day Shift, 6:00 am to 04:30 pm
Monday - Friday
Welder Helper Qualifications (Requirements / Skills)
Ability to interpret and follow written directions, blueprints, and engineering diagrams
Basic math skills and able to read a tape measure is required*
Experience with hand tools, power tools
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
Able to pass a background check
Able to work in the US
