Position Summary
We are a growing consulting firm needing reliable and talented Debris Monitors. Your work as a Debris Monitor will make a real difference as you support the Response Team with various tasks, including driving around and following hauling contractors to ensure debris is removed correctly according to local, state, and federal regulations.

Position Details

• Reports to: Field Supervisor
• Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL
• Position Type: On-Call
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Pay: Hourly
• Compensation: $16-18
• Travel: In the local area of assignment

Minimum Job Requirements

• Cheerful, friendly, courteous customer service skills.
• Possess good teamwork.
• Ability to follow directions and safety protocols.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Ability to pass a drug screen, motor vehicle, and criminal background check.
• Valid State Driver's License not suspended.
• Proof of valid liability insurance.
• Must have a reliable vehicle.
• A cell phone with a charger is required.
• Ability to work in high-degree temperatures with high humidity for long periods.
• Ability to drive and work in areas with disaster and harsh outdoor conditions
• Ability to work 12 -15 hour shifts that may begin as early as 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., seven days a week during the response period.
• Ability to work up to 75-80 hours per week if necessary.

Preferred Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Prior Debris Monitoring experience
