As a remote-first company, this position can sit in Plano, TX or remote in the US.

Position Overview:

Alkami is seeking a Deal Desk Analyst to be an integral part of the Finance team and report to the Director of Deal Desk. The Deal Desk Analyst will assist with the preparation of financial reporting, deal & product analysis, contract reviews, reporting of key sales metrics, and provide ad hoc analysis for Finance, Sales & Marketing, and Legal.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist the Director of Deal Desk with deal review, pricing analysis, and approvals 
• Analyze new sales deal profitability and discounting, while articulating salient factors to aid the decision-making process of management
• Document existing processes and identify and recommend policy and process improvements to enhance the effectiveness of deal structure, exception processes and ultimately decrease deal cycle time
• Monthly and Quarterly Reporting of Sale Deal Results including insightful variance and trend analysis
• Support in Sales Teams with finance and business presentations and supporting materials
• Support internal stakeholders while meeting SLA requirements as defined by management. Support Sales as SFDC subject matter expert.
• Support the department as we build and document new workflows
• Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by leadership

Qualifications:

• B.S. degree in finance, accounting, or related degree
• 2+ years’ work experience in Deal Desk, Sales Operations, Order Management, or Revenue Operations
• Organized & detail oriented with ability to understand larger process concerns
• Proficient working with Microsoft Excel & Office, Google Sheets & Docs
• Ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous priorities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable with complex data and extracting relevant takeaways. Clear and reasoned decision making in ambiguous situations

Desired Skills:

•  SaaS Industry or other recurring revenue experience
•  Familiarity with Salesforce.com, CPQ, Netsuite, and other CPQ/Contract Management tools
• Exposure to Sales Organizations, Rep & Territory Management, Sales Ops, Quotas, FP&A, or Revenue Accounting
