We are looking for a dynamic and passionate DCL and LMS Administrator to join our Quality & Patient Safety team!

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The document control administrator (DCA) & Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is an essential role for the organization, which provides administrative oversight of the operations for policy creation, modification/revisions, discontinuation, etc as well as ongoing support of education assignments, transcript management, and education compliance reports. Works with stakeholders to drive the quality, accuracy, and consistency of policies and trainng records in accordance with regulatory bodies and hospital requirements. This position directly reports to the Vice President - Quality Management with a dotted line to the Director of Education.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Attend the regularly scheduled DCA call lead by the Corporate Document Control Administrator and acts as the designated person at the facility to receive and distribute all corporate policies.
  • Lead or be a member of the facilities Document Control Committee at their respective site, which includes the development of the policy approval process.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and/or assisting employees with access to policy program and/or the LMS, including maintain LMS documentation such as accurately recording educating and training into the LMS.
  • Utilizes the administrative role within the system to perform the following activities:
  • Contributes to the day-to-day functioning of the quality management and education departments by assisting with special projects as assigned, including but not limited to scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and both transcribing and distributing meeting minutes, ordering and maintaining departmental supplies, filing, scanning, copying, departmental mail, and other duties.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • College degree required
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably acute hospital care
  • Experience with document control and policy creation, modification, distribution, discontinuation, and LMS systems
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience using online databases/software programs
    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Demonstrate sound judgement, patients, and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workload to meet deadlines, which may include working in a fast pace/stressful environment
    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
    • Strong interpersonal verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office and database software
