Description

The Client Service Analyst works in a team environment and is responsible for all operational tasks associated with servicing qualified and non-qualified defined benefit pension plans in compliance with the plan’s provisions and administrative policies. This includes, but is not limited to, acting as the primary client contact on all participant issues, performing benefit calculations, responding to participant requests, and problem resolution.

The Client Service Analyst will interact within their team and with other Milliman teams (possibly across office locations) with a moderate amount of interaction with the client. A small amount of travel can be anticipated.

What You Will Do

  • Processes benefit calculations and distribution forms
  • Researches and responds to participant inquiries and requests
  • Researches and responds to client inquiries and requests
  • Performs all non-payment administration activities
  • Prepares actuarial valuation data extract and benefit statements
  • Maintains client project status logs
  • Performs special projects
  • Leads client status call
  • Reviews benefit calculations and other non-payment administration activities
  • Develops and updates procedural documentation
  • Prepares project management documentation

Who We Are Looking For

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3+ years of related experience in defined benefit plan administration

Preferred Qualifications

  • QPA certification

Personal Qualifications

  • Works well within a team environment and takes ownership of personal work product.
  • Proficiency in the use of computers and other general office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Able to productively respond to change.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.

Location

This role is based out of the Milliman office in Dallas, TX, but candidates hired into this role may work remotely anywhere in the US.


Compensation

The salary range for this role is $50,000 to $96,000, depending on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, education, relevant work experience, qualifications, skills, certifications, location, etc.
