Full time and part time will be available. Hours of operation are 5:45am-6:30pm. All new hires are required to have (or willing to obtain upon hiring)
-Pediatric CPR/First Aid Cert
-Background check/Fingerprinting
We provide the required 24 hours of Pre-service training, upon hire, unless you have two years of experience at a childcare facility.
Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children in the daycare
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of the children
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and other personal care tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in childcare, babysitting, or caregiving roles
- Strong classroom management skills to effectively guide and engage children
- Knowledge of infant care practices and techniques
- Familiarity with special education principles is a plus
- A degree or certification in early childhood education or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work well with young children, demonstrating patience, empathy, and understanding
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues effectively
