Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and rest periods
- Assist with diaper changes, potty training, and maintaining cleanliness in the classroom
- Monitor and address any behavioral issues or conflicts among children
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment
Skills:
- Experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate teaching methods
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment
- Patience, compassion, and the ability to handle challenging behaviors
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred)
