- Previous experience working with children, such as in a daycare, nanny, babysitting, or classroom setting
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and maintain discipline
- Familiarity with toddler care and development
- First aid and CPR certification is preferred
