Sets up station with the correct process inspection documents, screens, and/or workflow instructions.
Performs in process visual inspections of product, identifying defects according to workmanship standards.
Package and label product in accordance of standard SOP
Reads and interprets the manufacturing process instructions, visual aids/drawings (e.g. microscope and magnifying lenses).
Scans product and enters into the shop floor control system or manual tracking systems when applicable.
Documents workload, calculating the number of products inspected and rejected.
Completes task schedule on time.
Communicates any process problems with Process Technician/Shift Supervisor/ Manufacturing Engineer Molding
Fill out Quality hourly paperwork
Responsible for keeping areas neat and clean, follow restriction/rules of fire protection, safety and environmental issues
Assist with relieving other operators with scheduled breaks
Complete daily cleaning assignments
Information exchange with shift handover
Transmission of recognized improvements of quantity/quality or cost reductions to Shift Supervisor
