Datacenter Technician

Pay Range: $22- $24/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:

• As a Data Center Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and support of critical data center infrastructure. You will work in a team environment to ensure the availability, reliability, and security of data center services.
• Equipment Installation and Maintenance:
  • Install, configure, and maintain data center hardware, including servers, switches, routers, and storage devices.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Cabling and Connectivity:
  • Manage and organize data center cabling infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues.
• Server Administration:
  • Install, configure, and update server operating systems and software.
  • Monitor server health and performance, and take appropriate actions as needed.
• Security and Access Control:
  • Implement and enforce security policies and access controls in the data center.
  • Ensure physical security of the data center facility.
• Power and Cooling:
  • Monitor and maintain power and cooling systems to prevent downtime.
  • Respond to temperature and power alerts promptly.
