Job Description :
Enterprise Master Data Technology group is at the forefront of building BNY Strategic Reference Data Platforms. The initiative's current focus is to stand up as Client, Account, Product, Reference, and Security Master. The Master's Technology team is looking for a motivated senior Database Developer. S/he will be part of the team that builds, maintains, and promotes our Enterprise Master Data platform.
The job holder leads database solutions' technical design, development, and documentation. The candidate is expected to operate under the guidance of the Tech Manager; however, he is expected to be a self-starter, work with an ownership mentality, and interface with other teams. Candidate must be aware of Agile Software Delivery Practice.
Skills and Qualifications
- Enterprise Master Data Group and work with lots of Data Group at BNY Mellon.
- The current focus of the initiative is to stand up as Client, Account, Product, Reference, and Security Master.
- Client Data, Product Data related work.
- Ten-plus years of work experience.
- Agile Practice: The Sprint cycle is three weeks working with the Manager for Technical design.
- Good understanding of data Modeling and Database design.
- One round of interviews. ( 60 to 90 min technical round)
- Location: Pittsburgh, PA ( 1-2 days/ week)
- Golden Gate is good to have.
- Candidate willing to relocate to Pittsburgh, PA, will be fine.
- Knowledge of ETL, experience in related programming, Java, Python, etc.
- Unix/Linux and Scripting, Bash, Python, etc.
- Experience using version control and DevOps tools like Git, Jenkins, etc.

Database (Oracle) solution design, development
DB and query Performance tuning
DB modelling
Preferred Skills / Years of Experience:
DB Replication (Golden Gate)
Data Entitlement (VPD, etc.)
Education :
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
