Database Design Engineer
Capabilities : Excellent communication skills; Comprehensive compilation of client requirements and workflow, and definition in database schema to provide process engineering, automation, and database to meet client needs. Define optimal workflow and user interface properties to achieve optimal attainment of client goals. Must be able to fit data model and implementation architecture to client needs. In depth knowledge of implementation details affecting performance, portability, cost, expandability, reliability, security, disaster recovery, user interface, user friendliness, learning curve properties, requirements for training and support, interface to other electro-mechanical devices. Bring all of this knowledge and experience in focus to meet client needs.
Education : BS, MS or PhD in CS, EE, or related field.
Experience : 5+ years applications/database systems design, implementation, and support. Experience with ER/Studio or ER/Win; Oracle, SQL Server, Sybase, or DB2 (UDB) a must. Experience in roundtrip engineering database logical models with UML data diagrams a plus.
