Title: Data Scientist (Remote work)

Duration: 3+ Months Contract
****Will only consider residents of AZ CO FL IA IL MI MO NC OR TX or WI to work during Eastern or Central time****
Pay rate: 65-80/hr on W-2 (DOE)
NOTE: No 1099 / C2C candidates for this role.
Required Skills: The technical skillset must include AWS Sagemaker, Redshift, SQL and Python.
We are looking for a Data Scientist to help shape the vision and execution of our client's data products.
You'll work closely with the business and product leaders to design and build models that will not only help clients understand their business in new ways, we'll become a pillar the modern publishing industry relies on for best practices in data science.
Duties / Required Experience / Skills:
- Should have in-depth knowledge in using AWS sagemaker in building, deploying, and maintaining ML models.
- Should be proficient in SQL and Python.
- Experience with AWS services like S3, Redshift and cloud-based infrastructure.
- Should have expert knowledge in building and maintaining predictive and churn models.
- Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques based on the scientific method.
- Analyzing customer data to identify patterns and trends that are associated along with churn.
- Evaluating the performance of predictive, time series, regression, churn models, Neural networks and implementing improvements as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into business operations.
- Providing data-driven recommendations to decision-makers on how to reduce churn.
- Communicating findings and recommendations to stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other forms of communication.
