· Provide extensive analytic and reporting activities used to determine the status of quality assurance compliance, as well as the identification of quality improvement initiatives
· Applies knowledge of statistics, machine learning, programming, data modeling, simulation, and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns in raw data;
· Identifies opportunities, poses business questions, and makes valuable discoveries leading to data driven reporting and data-driven decision-making;
· Uses a flexible, analytical approach to design, develop, and evaluate predictive models and advanced algorithms that lead to optimal value extraction from the data;
· Works with analytics and statistical software such as SQL, R, Python, PySpark and others to perform analysis and interpret data;
· Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses;
· Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks;
· Provides explanations and information to operational staff and customer leaders regarding analysis and interpretation of data related to difficult issues;
· Translates concepts into practice while working in concert with IT and other technical teams to drive the business requests;
· Meets with and supports the DD (customer) Quality staff at least once each month or more frequently as needed to discuss the status of the contract, reports, and data needs;
· Perform other duties (not outlined above) as assigned by Employer
Required Qualifications:
· Advanced or master’s level degree in Data Science Data Analytics or a related field
· Computer Science with a concentration in Data Science or a related field (4+ additional years of comparable work experience beyond the required years of experience may be substituted in lieu of a bachelor’s degree)
· 2+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist
· Experience with SQL
· Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking experience/ability.
· Demonstrates ability to effectively work with both internal and external clients.
Experience working with ID/DD and the Aging population would be preferred

Pay: $116,810.00 - $127,107.00 per year
