Internship Program Details: To be eligible for this program you must be able to work Monday-Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm EST. This role will be a hybrid opportunity reporting to our Weston (Fort Lauderdale-area) – FL office. This position will be in person Monday- Wednesday and be virtual Thursday-Friday.

About the Data Science Team:
Our Data Science team is housed within our Digital Organization. This team is primarily responsible for enterprise-level data strategy, analytics, and insights that enable exceptional customer and employee experiences that help steer UKG decisions on growth, retention, and operational agility.
Responsibilities:
• Research and develop ideas from our Data Science Incubator Portfolio
• Complete guided, but self-driven, problem-centric research that will help support our Data Science innovation efforts.
• Survey literature to help identify state-of-the-art methods that can potentially be applied to problem solutions.
• Apply Machine Learning and Statistical techniques to develop models, measure model performance, and simulate scenarios.
• Tell stories through analytics and insights that will properly engage diverse audiences
• Build prototype machine learning solutions that derive business value from the data.
• Be an active member of our Data Science team by participating in team meetings and collaborating with other team members.
