Job DescriptionWe are seeking growth and improvement minded Data Science & Analytics Associate Directors that can help drive our Strategic Operating Priorities.Invent-- Pursue the Most Promising Internal and External Science to Address Significant Unmet Medical NeedsExecute-- Prioritize Resources Behind Our Key Growth Drivers (Oncology, Vaccines, Select Specialty Areas, Animal Health) While Optimizing Our Base Business)Adapt-- Develop Our People, Culture and Business Model to Evolve with a Dynamic LandscapeDiverse Talent-- We are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment with promoting leadership behaviors because having a high performing, engaged workforce is critical to our ability to deliver innovative solutions to patients and customers around the worldValues and Standards-- Our Steadfast Commitment to Our Values and Standards will Continue to Guide Us as We Take on new opportunities and Will Always be Fundamental to Our Success - They are a Competitive Advantage for UsThe Data Science & Analytics Associate Director role will partner with the newly developed Human Health Insights, Analytics and Data area to use and apply data in dramatically improved ways to produce actionable insights that drive greater customer and market comprehension to inform launch brand strategies, help meet in-line brand growth objectives, and achieve improved customer engagement.They will be an integral part in helping to facilitate the creation of actionable commercial use-cases that create 'data-driven' decisions, that leverage knowledge across the organization and be more relevant to the customer.The preferred candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, comprehension of healthcare & technology, a demonstrated record of producing actionable insights from analytics, knowledge of and ability to identify & use new customer data sources to influence marketing strategy and identify data focused opportunities in these key growth areas.They will have demonstrated consistently strong leadership skills, an ability to work objectively and deal well with ambiguity and strong partnership skills. They will empower a growth mindset and inspire a culture of continual learning. This role will require interfacing and collaborating with many teams so strong communication skills.Peers who will thrive in this role are motivated by developing a deep appreciation of pharma secondary data sources and possess an ability to define and translate objectives and business questions into analytical problems that require advanced and scalable analytical solutions that produce actionable insights.Additional Key ResponsibilitiesThoroughly appreciate the assigned internal client - stakeholder business needs and priorities to help build analyses promoting business objectives by delivering actionable insightsMine and analyze data leveraging advanced analytical/statistical techniques from disparate databases/sources (claims data/EMR Data and other sources) to drive optimization and improvement of therapy area commercial business strategiesBe accountable for ensuring delivery of analyses with high quality standards, timeliness, compliance, and excellent user experience (routinely keep client base updated on progress)Establish and manages the continued close relationship with clients/stakeholdersComprehend the complexity/dependencies between multiple teams, platforms (people, technologies)Convey intensively with other platform/competencies to comprehend new trends/ methodologies being implemented/considered within the company ecosystem and bring new ideas forward that will enhance analytic capabilities of the organizationContribute to innovative experiments, specifically to idea generation, idea incubation and/or experimentation, identifying tangible and measurable criteriaWhere applicable, partner throughout the organization to identify, work with and direct the sourcing of externally available data sources based on the business needs, and execution of specific business objectivesEffectively convey and positively influence stakeholders-EducationBachelor of Science (or equivalent) in Data Science, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, IT, MBA , or an equivalent scientific/commercial disciplineKnowledge - SkillsWork objectively and as a Team member with Integrity - Precision - Accomplishment - Motivational Ambition - RespectThree plus years of relevant working knowledge delivering actionable analytical insights that drive positive business resultsKnowledge in mining medical claims/EMR, social media, etc.

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education. Expected salary range: $144,320.00 - $227,100.00Available benefits include bonus eligibility, health care and other insurance benefits (for employee and family), retirement benefits, paid holidays, vacation, and sick days.
