Our Data Reporting Analysts work on an elite team (Optum Specialty Industry & Trade Relations) supporting our specialty manufacturer data contracts, working closely with data aggregators and pharmaceutical companies. In this important role, you will be receiving data, carefully reviewing and providing quality control checks, and delivering the data under our various manufacturer data contracts. You will act as a liaison between the data aggregators, pharmaceutical companies we have contracts with and our internal IT team. You must have a keen eye for detail to ensure that the files are built to the correct specifications before they go out the door. You will be working primarily in Microsoft Excel, so an intermediate level of proficiency is required. We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills, who can establish rapport and work well with others.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Understand data specs required under contracts
  • Work with an internal dedicated IT team, data aggregators and manufacturers to procure and deliver required data accurately and on-time
  • Review data produced and check for quality (completeness of data, errors, etc.)
  • Ensure we meet all contractual requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs)

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of experience working in healthcare / health insurance / pharma
  • Experience speaking clearly and concisely, conveying complex or technical information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret complex information from others coupled with extremely strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate proficiency working in MS Excel (working with data, using data filters, creating and editing worksheets, etc.)
  • Proficiency working in MS Office suite products

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree
  • Experience with IRIS (Integrated Rx Information System) or ScriptMed
  • Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) and/or pharmaceutical experience
  • Experience reviewing and understanding contracts
  • Sense of urgency and ability to multi-task while ensuring all tasks get handled within time constraints
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Passion for and commitment to a consumer and client driven culture
  • Intermediate level analytical and problem-solving skills

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
