How Will You Make an Impact?
- Identify and nurture the unique goals and interests of each team member to foster growth and satisfaction, which in turn will contribute to team performance and product quality.
- Be hands-on while managing and building a team of great engineers through coaching, mentoring, and career development.
- Effectively evaluate and recruit to hire additional Data QA Engineers and ETL testers.
- Develop new tools and processes for consistent quality goal achievement
- Set operational and organizational strategy for the Data QA Engineering.
- Drive tracking, course correction, and efficient achievement of KPIs.
- Partner closely with the Data Engineering squad, acting as a pivotal QA contact for releases.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies to align QA efforts with development goals.
- Possess a deep understanding of data warehouse concepts, such as star schemas, referential integrity, facts, and dimensional modeling.
- Demonstrate expertise in writing complex SQL queries for certifying business and technological solutions.
- Assist the team in maintaining an automated regression test suite (using PyTest) for certifying business use cases and technical solutions.
- Collaborate with Platform Engineering and Development teams to create and manage alerts.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Data products and components supported by the Squad.
What Do You Bring to Us?
- 8-10 years of experience reviewing user stories, acceptance criteria, and specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in agile software development testing for Data Products.
- Ability to coordinate with developers and product owners to provide efficient feedback.
- Mitigate quality risks and maintain the architecture for the automation suite.
- Create effective test plans and data sets for functional testing and end-to-end testing for ETL, database, and data warehouse reports.
- Provide QA services, offer User Acceptance Testing (UAT) guidance, and coordinate QA resources internally and externally.
- Proven experience in building complex SQL statements for data validation and verification.
- Expertise in building automated test cases using Python or PyTest.
- Prior experience in Advertisement/ Financial/ Digital Marketing domain (nice to have)
The salary range for this role is $155,000 - $165,000. Pay offered may vary within the posted range based on a number of factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
