The Data Management Generalist 2 will assist to implement HR Data Retention Controls across several HR applications to meet requirements from California Privacy Rights Act and Internal Retention Information Management (RIM) policies. The HR Data Retention Consultant will be working as part of the People Data Governance team (HR) and collaborate with application owners as well as RIM COE, IT and Data Governance team to: i. identify Retention Controls gaps for each of the application ii. Assess and define best system solution iii. understand and analyze RIM data categorization to be applied to the different data sets involved iv. Implement system solution.
This role will be responsible for setting project priorities from a Data Governance perspective and work with Project Managers to proactively identify risks and work on mitigating actions and be available, as needed, to answer scope and priority questions and contribute to keep the team moving and accepting milestones during the project. Understand the technical capabilities of the data retention solutions and assist to develop systems for coaching data team and application owners on how to use them. Solicit and leverage feedback from stakeholders and users of products to ensure that the project team is maximizing business value, improving adoption and delivering necessary features and functions for the company.

Comments for Suppliers: The candidate needs to have data understanding and ideally data retention policies knowledge along with acceptable technical skills to feel comfortable working with IT and Data Architect. Project Management skills will be desired.
