American National is hiring a Data Governance Specialist. In this role you will support the Data Governance practice while complying with our Data Governance policies with little to no assistance from management. You will be responsible for implementing Data Governance in SailPoint IIQ, SailPoint FAM (File Access Manager) and any additional governance platforms by working directly with key business stakeholders and project teams.
What Will You Do?
• Provide training for and maintain the execution of the administration of Data Governance systems to ultimately reduce risk for the company and to align with the industry best practices
• Develop and maintain logical access governance policies and procedures within SailPoint IIQ and FAM (File Access Manager)
• Create & maintain logical access SOD policies within SailPoint IIQ
• Create & maintain certifications of access within SailPoint IIQ and FAM
• Provides support for the governance of the IT Logical Access Controls and impact assessments needed for the GRC IT Control Analysts. Represents a support role for the governance of the IT Logical Access Controls with internal and external auditing teams
• Train and support the data owners and business data stewards in complying with the data classification procedures.
• Serve as liaison between SailPoint Administration teams and SailPoint IIQ and FAM Users for end-to-end logical access and data driven process
• Monitor and enforce compliance to Data Governance standards
• Provide training for and maintain Data Stewardship Roles for people along with supporting the identification and maintenance of roles within applications
• Maintain people in data privacy stewardship roles
Required Skills
• Associates Degree
• Four to six years of similar experience
o Experience can be substituted for a degree
