We are open 8am-7pm Mon- Fri and 8am-4pm Sat. Closed on Sundays and all major holidays.
This position is responsible for ensuring all prescriptions are filled in correct manner according to all applicable laws, without error, and in a timely fashion. Complete projects and enhanced services on a regular basis in a correct and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Enter prescription order into computer systems for filling at a centralized location
• Fill prescriptions according to quality standards, productivity guidelines, and state board of pharmacy regulations
• Contact physician's offices to clarify prescriptions, get refills and provide information for insurance prior authorizations
• Communicate with skilled nursing facilities to clarify orders
• Update patient profile with all the necessary information from prescriptions and ensure that patient profiles are current and up-to-date
• Contacting insurance companies to troubleshoot claim payments
• Assist with finding lost or missing orders on request
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Other essential functions and duties may be assigned as needed

Pay Rate:
Starting at $14/hr, with pay bumps available as you learn more within the pharmacy. Higher starting pay available if you have previous pharmacy experience.
Experience and Skills

• Pharmacy technician license in Missouri (not required before hire)
• Pharmacy Experience Preferred
• Knowledge of brand name/generic medications and sig codes
• Ability to effectively communicate professionally
• Advanced computer skills
• Ability to work independently and deliver to deadlines
• Ability to solve problems with minimal direction
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment working on multiple tasks simultaneously, while adhering to strict deadlines
• Quality minded; motivated to seek out errors and inquire when something appears
