We're currently seeking a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Pharmacy Technician I to join our team. This role is pivotal in accurately entering and verifying prescription information, including patient data, medication specifics, and dosage instructions, using our pharmacy management software PIONEERX.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction by quickly and precisely inputting prescription orders.
- Navigate through various software applications to examine patient profiles and accurately input prescription details.
- Maintain and update patient records with utmost accuracy.
- Ensure all patient and prescription information is correct and up-to-date.
- Handle prescription clarifications and direct them to the correct department.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA standards and regulations.
- Meet or exceed set benchmarks for DATA ENTRY speed and accuracy.
- Take on additional tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven ability to fulfill all key duties satisfactorily.
- Solid grasp of compounding prescription orders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Skilled in basic math operations, with the ability to perform calculations involving fractions, percentages, and ratios.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Team player with a positive attitude towards team collaboration.
- Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, specifically in DATA ENTRY within a pharmacy setting.
- Must hold an active Texas Board of Pharmacy Technician license, without any probationary status.
