Reports to: Senior Recovery Associate
Office Location: 1801 W. Warner, Suite 202, Chicago IL; required in-office minimum of 3 days per week (hybrid work policy subject to change)

Who We Are Looking For:
The Data Entry Associate is responsible for collecting data, maintaining records, and entering and updating information within company databases in support of NAMI Chicago's Recovery Department. Reporting to the Senior Recovery Associate, the Data Entry Associate works with Recovery staff to maintain accurate records and enter data for Recovery programs.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
Data Management
- Supports the Recovery Department by inputting data for the Engagement and Support Pilot Program into both internal and external data systems.
- Provide technical assistance to the Recovery Department.
- Scan and organize documents for filing purposes
- Identify and correct Data Entry errors
- Handle Confidential information and data
- Work with Recovery Department leadership to provide any data collection issues or training needs
- Assists in training the Recovery Department staff on utilizing iCarol and the Caspio web application.
Data Strategy
- Identify opportunities for process improvement. Advise on best practices and other solutions to improve upon current policies and practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Outlook, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience putting data into a database
- Ability to learn data management systems and advise others on their use
- Patience, empathy, and keen listening skills
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience managing databases or Data Entry.
- Strong knowledge of and experience with Tableau or comparable data visualization software.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word. Proficiency in Internet Explorer, Outlook/Exchange; Windows operating systems; and other software routinely used by NAMI Chicago
