Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Clerk. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining various types of data into our computerized systems. This is a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data.
Duties:
- Transcribe, type, and verify data from various sources into computer systems
- Perform basic math calculations to ensure accuracy of entered data
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic files and records
- Collect data from different sources and compile it into usable formats
- Enter data into spreadsheets and databases using programs such as Excel
- Verify entered data for errors or discrepancies and make necessary corrections
- Follow established procedures and guidelines for Data Entry and record keeping
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proven experience in Data Entry or related field preferred
- Proficient in using computers and basic software applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in Data Entry
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with databases and data management systems is a plus
