Data Engineer

Renuity is seeking a Data Engineer who will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and integration processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud-based technologies, with a focus on Azure Synapse, and a proven track record of successfully delivering scalable and efficient data solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless flow of data across the enterprise.

• Competitive base salary between $100,000 - $110,000 per year commensurate on experience

What You'll Do: 

• Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Cloud-based tools, with a primary focus on Azure Synapse
• Ensure the efficient and reliable transfer of data between different sources and cloud EDW
• Build and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines for processing and transforming large volumes of data
• Optimize data workflows for speed, reliability, efficiency and cost optimization
• Work with various databases, both relational and non-relational, to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data
• Collaborate with database administrators to optimize database performance
• Implement and enforce data quality standards and best practices in data processing and integration workflows
• Collaborate with data governance teams to ensure compliance with data policies
• Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions
• Document data integration processes, ensuring comprehensive and clear documentation for future reference

What You'll Bring: 

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on cloud-based integration tools, particularly Azure Synapse
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Azure Synapse pipelines
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with data modeling and schema design
• Expertise in building and optimizing data pipelines using cloud-based technologies
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and best practices
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
