We are looking for a candidate who will be an advocate for data literacy and adoption across Emory, with an initial focus on increasing Epic knowledge and adoption. The job responsibilities are:
• Develops, manage, and implement a structured training plan for data analysts and consumers
• Creates and organizes curriculum/classes/workshops for data analysts (beginner, intermediate, and advanced)
• Gathers feedback from data analysts and consumers to ensure training needs are met
• Maintains and updates self-service analytics resource center portal
• Maintains data catalog in collaboration with subject matter experts
• Plans and manages forums/events to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across the data analytics user community
• Organizes, documents, and curates information regarding the location of data sets and analytics tools
• Conducts business analysis assessments of data needs and reporting needs
• Familiar with Epic reporting tools and Epic Cogito platform
• Familiar with a cloud analytics platform, AWS or Azure preferred
• Familiar with Scrum/agile methodologies
Salary: Apps Solution Analyst III - $36.75-$66.53/hr
The grade and salary of the position are based on specific criteria met within the qualifications of each level, relevant experience, skills, performance and internal equity.
Work Location: Hybrid based in Atlanta, ~1 day a week in office
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Serve as a trusted resource to onboard data consumers across Emory Healthcare and Emory university
- Utilize change management best practices to curate training experiences across a variety of departments and end users
- Define and maintain training pathways for the different personas and makes sure content is fit for purpose and up to date
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Data Enablement initiatives
- Generate regular reports to demonstrate the impact of data adoption efforts
- Champion and promote a data-centric, data-driven culture across all levels and roles
- Proactively seeks to improve training experiences and identify gaps in current materials or processes
- Desire to collaborate and mentor others
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Seven years of application systems/administration experience OR five years experience with a bachelor's degree.
- Must be able to lead, engage, and mentor others.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
- Must be proficient in three or more programming languages and/or application systems implemented in production.
