ABOUT CMFCAA
The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association is a not for profit agency that educates, supports, & advocates for foster, adoptive, & kinship children, youth, & families in central Missouri by offering services & partnering with community & governmental agencies to develop healthy & self-sufficient individuals & families.
Founded in 2007 by a former foster youth, foster parents, and adoptive parents, the CMFCAA is a community service organization that provides for the needs of foster, adoptive, kinship, and guardianship youth and families. What began as a small support group has grown into a multifaceted organization that provides direct support, education, services and advocacy to foster and adoptive families in a 24-county central Missouri region. Currently, we are assisting over 640 foster families, over 1400foster children, over 400 adopted children in our service area. Our goal is to be a support to the families, children and youth in this area, and we work tirelessly to provide much needed services to them.
POSITION SUMMARY
Data Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting CMFCAA's research and evaluation efforts, ensuring that the organization is able to effectively evaluate its work and use findings to drive improvement and increase impact. More specifically, the Data Coordinator will support the organization's efforts to collect, manage, and share data with both internal and external audiences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Collection and Management:
- Collect, process, and manage a variety of quantitative and qualitative data
- Sort, update, and merge data files from a variety of sources
- Evaluate data quality and perform data-cleaning operations
- Assist in the development, administration, and collection of surveys, forms, and questionnaires
- Working closely with the President/Founder and Grant Manager, oversee all data entry tasks associated with the organization's Grant Department
Reporting:
- Run regular data reports from a variety of sources to share internally with CMFCAA's program and evaluation teams
- In partnership with the administration, create program reports to share externally with CMFCAA's partners. Address ad hoc data requests from programs, the development team, and senior leadership
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
The Data Coordinator will be a highly motivated self-starter with a bachelor's degree (preferably with a quantitative focus) and 2-3 years of work experience. The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualities and attributes:

- The capacity to multitask and manage multiple projects and assignments, often with competing deadlines
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills - experience with Stata and statistical modeling is preferred
- Experience with Tableau or other data visualization software a plus
- Experience in SAM database preferred
- Strong experience in stats to seamlessly transition into producing high-quality analyses to help the organization with replication
