Our Engineering Operations Technicians II (EOT's) help keep them that way by working with the brightest minds from around the globe to test and implement the newest technology and work practices to meet the demands of a changing market.

Key job responsibilities
- You are a role model for safety behavior and culture
- Thrive and contribute to a work culture that celebrates diversity and inclusion
- Ownership and administration of change management program, writing documents on time and tracking approvals through completion
- Oversee installation of server racks and monitor power-up/down operations
- Coordinate with vendors to schedule their availability when we need them
- Monitor equipment alarms and coordinate with stakeholders to resolve abnormal indications
- Oversee contractors, sub-contractors and vendors, ensuring that all work performed is in accordance with approved practices and procedures
- Bring your unique perspective to enhance AWS operations and raise our programs to a higher level
- Learn the Data Center's infrastructure and grow into a subject matter expert that can train others
- Involved in projects of moderate complexity
- Participate in working group programs and grow your professional skills
A day in the life
- Ensure all safety procedures are adhered to while performing work
- Assist with basic support concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management creation, writing procedures and building management systems
- Role may support more than one site
- Walk job sites in uneven terrain. Maintain balance and perform tasks while on a ladder
- May lift or move up to 39 pounds independently and participate in group lifts for 40+ pounds
- Regularly walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, climb stairs, twist, bend, work above shoulders, grasp, carry, push and pull.
