Job Description
Hybrid Pathways, a New Era company, Datacenter Co-Location project team requires a senior technical consultant with complex IT environment experience, specifically with Data Center server and Application Migrations experience to support a large-scale Data Center Colocation project. This is a 4–5-month remote project opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Serving as a subject matter expert in virtual server and Application Migration and greenfield developments of datacenters including complex virtual environments.
- Experience leading the successful migration of applications with replication technologies such as Zerto or Site Recovery Manager.
- Working with application owners to accelerate and enable migrations.
- Experience leading engineers migrating / building infrastructure and preparing for Application Migration.
- Willing to lead migration-day efforts within a larger team of engineers.
- Ensuring all risk and control objectives are met in conjunction with migrations.
- Must be able and willing to work PST hours and nights/weekends for migration-day efforts.
Required Skills:
- At least 3 years overall experience with technical Data Center migrations.
- At least 3 years overall experience with assisting in managing technical professional services customer engagements.
- Experienced and proficient with technical migration components for Data Center moves.
- Ability to communicate with executive stakeholders and help drive the program workstreams down to the technical stakeholders’ level.
- Define / Manage Migration Scope: lead the change management processes to drive effective migration execution (e.g., launch, deployment, revisions, change control).
- Define dependencies and sequencing for the migrations.
- Ability or experience to work at scale, be flexible & adaptable, and work with 24x7 product engineering teams.
- Collaborative team worker – both in person and virtually using MS Teams or similar.
- Excellent documentation skills; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work as liaison between business and information technology.
- Flexibility to accommodate working across different time zones.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills with strong spoken and written English.

Preferred Education
- BS in Computer Science or related field of study, or equivalent work experience.
